Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is offering Extended Warranty for a period for another two years at nominal Rates on its models.
Here is an offer that few car owners are likely to resist. Maruti Suzuki has introduced an Extended Warranty Scheme on all its models at nominal rates. This means that customers who have the regular two-year warranty can extend it and turn it into a three-year or four-year warranty.
This offer, launched on 1st April 2002, will give buyers the option of going in for an Extended Warranty at any time as long as their vehicle is within the primary warranty period i.e. 2 years or 40,000 kms, whichever is earlier.
Maruti Suzuki has introduced three price slabs within the Extended Warranty Scheme, for both the three-year and four-year options. So, different rates are applicable for customers going in for the scheme within 60 days, 61 to 365 days and 366 to 730 days of having bought their vehicle. At all times, of course, their vehicle needs to be within the primary warranty.
This scheme will provide further assurance to customers about the continued performance of their vehicle. Secondly, since it is backed by the Maruti Suzuki, customers who go in for this scheme will have the flexibility of going to any Maruti Suzuki dealer across the country and avail of its benefits. And lastly, since it is being offered at very nominal rates, the customers can be rest assured that they are getting ample value for money."
